Sales vacancy applications 'streamlined by new program'
Jobseekers looking for sales vacancies may not need to complete additional application forms due to the release of new software.
Arithon has announced the release of a program which allows a CV written in Microsoft Word to fit within the databases used by human resources departments, Onrec.com reports.
Rod Smyth, chief executive officer of the company, claims that candidate-friendly websites are better able to attract jobseekers.
He states: "Employers still need access to talent and a pool of screened candidates ready for the upturn. The days of requiring candidates to laboriously complete application forms, when they've already typed a perfectly good CV, are numbered."
Mr Smyth tells the news provider that there are clear advantages for employers, as they can process a greater number of sales jobs applications more quickly.
In other news, Peter Panayotou, senior consultant for the Write Stuff, recently warned that jobseekers applying for sales vacancies should not make their CV too long.
