Sales jobs could be right for a career change

Being scared of taking a pay cut and lacking skills are the two main reasons why people put off making a career change even though they do not enjoy their job, according to one website.

Webchats.tv said some workers are reluctant to switch to roles because it could put their current lifestyle at risk.

It stated: "Some of us simply don't know what we want to do next in life. With the myriad of careers out there, choosing the one for you can be tricky if you have no idea which field you want to move into."

The site added that making a change in career to an area like sales jobs may not be as difficult as they think and potential candidates just need advice and clear goals.

A study of 1,000 adults by the Careers Advice Service found that more than two-thirds of respondents thought that a lack of qualifications was the biggest hurdle between them and a new career.
