3D TVs could be the "next big thing"

People in sales jobs looking for something to spend their hard-earned commission on might consider 3D televisions which became available in the UK this week.

Some of the sets have a recommended retail price of £1,799, but sales staff with a decent amount of money to spend could be tempted.

Although there is only one film available in 3D at the moment - Pixar's Monsters vs Aliens - when the craze takes off there could be many more titles for sales people to choose from.

"I think it's what everybody is going to be talking about and, with the success of 3D in the cinema, this is bringing that level of enjoyment and type of experience into people’s homes," John Kempner, a spokesman for John Lewis, said.

He added that "3D is the next big thing" and follows the popularity of flatscreen TVs and high definition sets.

Other technology products appealing to gadget-loving sales men and women include the new iPad from Apple, which attempts to bridge the gap between netbooks and smartphones.

Aaron Wallis is a specialist sales recruitment agency that offers the UK’s most inclusive service, offering that includes psychometric profiling and online skills testing. Your investment in new staff is backed by a unique 12 months rebate scheme.
